Each Little Miracle you purchase will help fund a real miracle – A cure for Muscular Dystrophy

For most kids, making Christmas decorations is a simple, fun activity that's taken for granted. For thousands of Australian kids affected by Muscular Dystrophy, these simple things are a lot harder to do. Muscular Dystrophy is a degenerative disorder that slowly takes away your muscles, mobility and quality-of-life, but it doesn’t take away your imagination.

Each Christmas ornament on this site was originally handmade by a child affected by Muscular Dystrophy. Each took a lot of heart and a lot of effort. By purchasing your Little Miracle 3D printed by Monash University, you’re helping fund a real miracle – a cure for Muscular Dystrophy.

From big imaginations to Little Miracles

  • Lovingly handmade by children

Each Little Miracle was originally handmade and designed by children with Muscular Dystrophy.

  • 3D printed by Monash University

Using 3D printing technology, design students and engineers at Monash University brought every ornament to life.

  • Donated to find a cure by you

All proceeds from your Little Miracle goes towards research to help find a cure for Muscular Dystrophy.

One of the best things about Christmas is Santa! Don't we all just love him? I made this ornament in grade four because Santa makes me so happy.

I love food and parties a whole lot, so I thought it’d be really fun to combine the two and make a crazy Christmas plate! I think the colours will go great with any and every tree!

I’ve always loved Christmas trees. Decorating it was something we did together as a family. We’d all joke around and take turns hanging our favourite decorations - I doubt there were any buttons, though!

This one has a lot of my favourite colours in it and the round shape makes it look like a donut! It’s what Homer would decorate the Simpson’s tree with I think!

I think owls are really pretty. I like their big eyes the most and think it would be fun to have a happy looking owl on a Christmas tree.

Christmas time is the best! I get to go to a lot of parties and have heaps of fun, but I love the memories from the photos the most. That’s why I thought it’d be fun to have a photo tree.

I had a lot of fun making this with my brother. I hope I see a shooting star in the sky one day!

My favourite Christmas decorations are definitely stars and angels. I wanted to make a super colourful star to stand out! I think it’ll look awesome on people’s Christmas Trees.

I love going through all the photos we take on Christmas Day just as much as opening presents! I think hanging your favourite photos on your Christmas Tree would be a lot of fun.

I always love seeing everyone’s different Christmas angels on top of their trees. They’re all special in their own way. That’s why I wanted to make one for me and my family.

About Muscular Dystrophy

About Muscular Dystrophy

Muscular Dystrophy is a degenerative muscle-destroying disorder affecting one in every 625 men, women and children in Australia. Leading to the early onset of debilitating heart, breathing and mobility complications, it’s common for those living with the disorder to be fully dependent on a wheelchair by age eight – a time when most kids run free without a care in the world. Each Little Miracle helps to not only give children like our miracle makers better lives, but to cure Muscular Dystrophy altogether.
